Once the category has been saved...
1. Select the category from the "Select Category" drop down.
2. Scroll down to the area of the page labelled "Category Limits"
3. In this area, you can set the following preferences for this specific category:
- Valid Date Range
- Specifies the dates through which members in this category may play. For example, full playing categories will have 1 January until 31 December, while limited or summer categories may have a date range of only a few months. When a member tries to get a score card printed outside the date range, they will either be charged a green fee or denied playing privileges
- Maximum Number of Rounds per year
- Specifies the number of rounds a member may play per year; useful for Pay As You Play memberships or reciprocal deals. To leave the number of rounds unlimited, just leave this box empty.
- Please Note: If a member is added to a category half way between the category dates that are set, any previous scores counted at that club will go towards that round count.
- Allow Play Outside Category limits
- If this category is limited by date or number of rounds and a member attempts to play or book a tee time outside of the limits, they will be given the option of paying an affiliated green fee if this option is ticked. If the option is unticked, the member will be denied playing/booking privileges.
- Always Charge Visitor Green Fees
- If ticked, any member playing in this category will always be charged the affiliated green fee rate for the date/time they are booking for or playing on. Useful for Pay As You Play memberships
- Set a Rule for Public Holidays:
- Use Weekday Limits: This option effectively ignores public holidays and makes the
green fee system pretend that it is just an ordinary day, causing
normal green fee rates to apply.
Allow (Always Allow Play): Members in this categories are always allowed to play on public holidays, regardless of any weekday limits they may have.
Restrict (do not allow play): This option will prohibit any members in this category from playing on any public holiday, regardless of their weekday limits.

4. When you are satisfied with the category limits you have put in place, remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page to save your changes.
